Day 1

Arrival – Paro to Thimphu

Arrive in Paro with breathtaking Himalayan views and drive to Thimphu. Stop at Tachogang Lhakhang for photos. Visit Buddha Point and explore the lively Centenary Farmers’ Market. Enjoy a relaxing evening walk in Bhutan’s peaceful capital city.

Day 2

Thimphu Sightseeing

Explore Thimphu’s cultural highlights including the Takin Preservation Center and traditional paper factory. Visit local craft markets and experience Bhutanese arts. Optional Wangditse hike offers panoramic valley views, giving a deeper insight into Bhutan’s culture and lifestyle.

Day 3

Thimphu – Phobjikha (Gangtey)

Drive to Phobjikha Valley via Dochula Pass with stunning Himalayan views. Visit Gangtey Monastery and enjoy the scenic nature trail through forests. Explore the Black-Necked Crane Center and experience the peaceful beauty of this glacial valley.

Day 4

Phobjikha – Punakha

Drive to Punakha through scenic landscapes and fertile valleys. Visit Chimi Lhakhang and explore the majestic Punakha Dzong at the river confluence. Walk across the suspension bridge and enjoy the tranquil surroundings of Punakha town.

Day 5

Punakha Sightseeing

Hike to Khamsum Yulley Monastery through paddy fields and traditional villages. Optional river rafting on Mo Chhu offers scenic adventure. Visit Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery and enjoy panoramic valley views. Relax and explore Punakha town in the evening.

Day 6

Punakha – Paro

Drive back to Paro via Dochula Pass and Thimphu. Visit the National Museum and Rinpung Dzong to explore Bhutan’s heritage and architecture. Spend the evening exploring Paro town and enjoying the scenic valley surroundings.

Day 6

Tiger’s Nest Monastery Hike

Hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched on a dramatic cliff. Enjoy breathtaking views and spiritual surroundings. Optional farmhouse visit and hot stone bath available. Return to Paro for a relaxing evening after this memorable experience.

Departure
