Day 1

Arrival – Paro to Thimphu

Arrive in Paro with stunning Himalayan views and drive to Thimphu. Stop at Tachogang Lhakhang for photos. Visit Buddha Point and explore the vibrant Centenary Farmers’ Market. Enjoy a peaceful evening walk in Bhutan’s capital.

Day 2

Thimphu Sightseeing

Explore Thimphu’s cultural highlights including the Takin Preservation Center and traditional paper factory. Visit local craft markets and experience Bhutanese arts and culture. Optional Wangditse hike offers scenic views of the valley and surrounding landscapes.

Day 3

Thimphu – Punakha

Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass with panoramic Himalayan views. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple, and explore the magnificent Punakha Dzong at the river confluence. Walk across Bhutan’s longest suspension bridge and enjoy the serene beauty of the valley.

Day 4

Punakha – Bumthang

Journey to Bumthang through scenic mountain passes including Pelela Pass. Visit Chendebji Chorten and explore the historic Trongsa Dzong. Stop at local weaving centers and experience Bhutan’s spiritual heartland known for its ancient monasteries and cultural richness.

Day 5

Bumthang Sightseeing

Explore Bumthang’s sacred sites including Jambay Lhakhang, Kurje Lhakhang, and Tamshing Monastery. Visit Jakar Dzong and learn about Bhutan’s spiritual history. Enjoy peaceful surroundings while discovering one of Bhutan’s most culturally significant valleys.

Bumthang – Phobjikha (Gangtey)

Phobjikha – Paro

Tiger’s Nest Monastery Hike
